Job summary

KNAPP is seeking a software professional to install and customize our logistics software at customer sites, including SQL-based reporting and on-site testing at the office and customer locations. The role involves collaboration with customers and international teams to tailor interfaces and support project management.

The candidate should have Linux experience and be capable of working across mixed environments, with opportunities for travel to customer sites and training in Kennesaw, GA.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of C++ or Java development.
• SQL and PL-SQL experience is required.
• Experience with Linux (mixed Linux/Windows).
• Knowledge of one of Bash, Perl or Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Installation and setup of our software at Customer Sites.
• Programming of software customizations and configurations.
• Develop queries and reports by accessing the database (SQL).
• Prepare and test software at office (Kennesaw/Atlanta) and at Customer Sites.
• Collaborate with customers on software engineering, interface adaptations, and support for sales/project management.
