Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in at least one core language (Python/JavaScript/C++).
• Proficient in another language from the listed options: Python, JavaScript, Java, C, Rust, or Golang.
• Broad and deep knowledge of software engineering, design methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong opinions on AI integration for engineering and training.
• Ability to clearly explain complex ideas to students.
• Experience presenting to groups of 20–60 learners.
• Relevant technical training work experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of classes for experienced software engineers, primarily in person but with video, mentoring, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with teams to define structure, content, and delivery methods for high-quality training.
• Quickly gain deep knowledge of Bloomberg's technologies and stay updated on new developments.
• Own the complete lifecycle of training tools, from requirements to coding, deployment, and maintenance.
• Build relationships across teams to meet goals.
• Remain open to feedback and continuously improve.
