Job summary

CommunityCare is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build the next generation of our platform. You will work independently and with teams, leading development of software features and mentoring teammates. You will prioritize, communicate clearly, and deliver with high quality, helping identify process improvements for the team.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, design APIs, ensure HA techniques, and drive coding standards while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years as a Software Engineer.
• Proficient in C# and .NET; strong SQL skills.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks (Angular).
• Experience designing and integrating APIs; Azure cloud experience.

Responsibilities

• Partners with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, define solutions and deliver quality software through all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Evaluates proposed solutions and technical approaches for feasibility, weighing requirements, constraints and long-term maintainability.
• Leads independently and completes all assigned tasks correctly and efficiently.
• Works with Architects on technical designs.
• Ensures code functions according to specifications and their work is completed within the allotted time frame and with high quality.
• Provides direction to other team members by being available to answer questions and perform code reviews.
• Shows direction in improving coding standards and product lines by suggesting new ideas and methods which to incorporate into our existing procedures.
• Requires the ability to work well with others in and out of the scrum team.
• Ensures goals of the team are being met by reporting any issues that hinder productivity or stability of the product.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work within strict deadlines.


• Eagerness and willingness to learn new technologies.


• Successful completion of Health Care Sanctions background check.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.


• 5+ years as a Software Engineer.
