Job summary

CommunityCare in Tulsa is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to build the next generation of our platform and lead features with independence or team collaboration. You will mentor teammates and help identify process improvements to enhance delivery quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years as a Software Engineer.
  • Proficient in C#/.NET and Microsoft SQL.
  • Experience with Angular and API design/integration.
  • Azure cloud services experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; meet deadlines.
  • Health Care Sanctions background check.

Responsibilities

  • Understand requirements with stakeholders to deliver quality software through all phases of development.
  • Evaluate feasibility, constraints and long-term maintainability of solutions.
  • Lead independently and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Architects on technical designs.
  • Ensure code meets specifications and deadlines with high quality.
  • Provide guidance and conduct code reviews for teammates.
  • Suggest improvements to coding standards and product lines.
  • Work well with others in and out of the scrum team.
  • Raise issues hindering productivity or stability of the product.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Sr. Software Engineer will build out the next generation of our platform. As a Sr. Software Engineer, you are expected to work independently, and within teams, leading the development of software features. Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, have a consistent track record of delivery, and excellent software engineering skills. You will be involved with mentoring other team members and helping with identifying process improvements for the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partners with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, define solutions and deliver quality software through all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Evaluates proposed solutions and technical approaches for feasibility, weighing requirements, constraints and long-term maintainability.
  • Leads independently and completes all assigned tasks correctly and efficiently.
  • Works with Architects on technical designs.
  • Ensures code functions according to specifications and their work is completed within the allotted time frame and with high quality.
  • Provides direction to other team members by being available to answer questions and perform code reviews.
  • Shows direction in improving coding standards and product lines by suggesting new ideas and methods which to incorporate into our existing procedures.
  • Requires the ability to work well with others in and out of the scrum team.
  • Ensures goals of the team are being met by reporting any issues that hinder productivity or stability of the product.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Proficient in C# and .NET development.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL.
  • Experience in JavaScript frameworks such as Angular.
  • Experience designing and integrating APIs.
  • High Availability techniques in a database or applicable software environment.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work within strict deadlines.
  • Eagerness and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Successful completion of Health Care Sanctions background check.
Education/Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years as a Software Engineer.
