The candidate should have a STEM degree with significant software experience, lead or management background, and expertise in complex systems integrating hardware and software to meet requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant STEM discipline and substantial engineering experience.
• Expert in software engineering with full lifecycle development experience.
• Experience leading teams and mentoring engineers in a program environment.
• Familiarity with modern software tooling including CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day communications, performance assessment, and staff development.
• Provide staffing support including recruiting, interviews, and hiring.
• Recommend raises and promotions based on performance and merit.
• Lead engineering performance evaluations and 1-on-1 sessions.
• Coach and mentor engineers and support staff on technical and career growth.
• Ensure staffing aligns with project requirements and contract performance.
