Job summary

WMG is seeking an experienced engineering leader to own team deliverables and objectives, set technical strategy, and drive engineering best practices in collaboration with senior engineers.

You will provide active career development and technical guidance, hire and build your team, manage performance, and collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure project success. The role focuses on building a dynamic, high‑performing engineering organization and delivering innovative products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years leading teams of 6–10+ software engineers.
• Hands-on leader who writes code and reviews
• Strong communication and hiring experience
• Thrives in ambiguity and fast-paced environments

• Thrives in ambiguity and fast‑paced, evolving environments
• Empathetic leader who builds strong teams

Apt Desired Skills

• Experience with Java, Angular, React, and AWS (not mandatory but a plus)
