Job summary

Ampact is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a software engineering team, drive architecture decisions, and deliver high-quality software that supports business goals. The role combines strategic guidance with hands-on development and collaboration across stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will mentor engineers, contribute technically, enforce architectural standards, and advance agile practices while coordinating with other teams to ensure seamless integration of features and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8 years of software engineering experience, including 5 years in a hands-on technical role.
• Experience leading or managing software engineering teams.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Solid understanding of agile development and modern software development practices.
