Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a software manager to oversee an agile team responsible for full-lifecycle flight software development and payload software integration within the Space Software Product Line. The Associate Manager will lead delivery, drive modernization efforts, and ensure adherence to standards.

Responsibilities include design input, testing environments, peer reviews, cost estimation, and staffing.

Qualifications

5+ years of software development experience.
3+ years of agile software development experience.
2+ years of project management experience.
2+ years of embedded software experience.
ability and willingness to present to large audiences.
willing to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the technical design and vision of the SSPL organization.
Guide software development and test environments and related tools; advocate process improvements.
Oversee peer-review processes and use metrics to gauge progress.
Oversee software problem reporting and use metrics for process improvement.
Coordinate requirements, data, and test inputs with system/subsystem engineers.
Perform CAM tasks: plan and supervise project schedules; prepare cost estimates and budgets.
