Job summary

Schneider Electric Federal seeks an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead planning, directing, and coordinating a software team delivering secure, high-quality solutions for federal energy management and automation projects in the U.S. Government sector.

You will drive standard software processes, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Sales, Estimating, and project teams to ensure competitive bids and timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• Five years' experience as engineering manager or technical lead with measurable success.
• Strong leadership to guide a software team and ensure quality deliverables.
• Understanding of complex software environments and end-to-end system architecture.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct software team activities for project completion.
• Prioritize deliverables with project managers.
• Develop and enforce software standards and processes.
• Provide high-level troubleshooting on project sites and with team members.
• Support sales engineers and assist in developing new business opportunities.
• Assist with commissioning and startup of Building Automation and Energy Management systems.
