The role emphasizes leveraging AI-enabled tools and responsible practices, advancing architecture, and maturing software processes while maintaining high standards for reliability and cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading and managing execution of processes, projects and tactics within Software Engineering.
• Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional product leadership across R&D, quality, regulatory, product management, systems engineering and program teams.
• Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, and coaching of software engineering staff.
• Direct third-party and contractor resources while ensuring compliance with quality, cybersecurity, and documentation standards.
• Drive engineering execution and strategy across architecture, development practices, automation and delivery excellence.
• Improve software development processes and quality metrics in partnership with R&D leadership.
