Job summary

Medtronic seeks a senior Systems Engineering Director for the Electro Physiology Therapies CRM division in Mounds View, MN. You will lead a 10–20 person team of engineers and one or more managers, shaping architecture, AI adoption, and cross-program consistency to enable scalable product platforms.

You will balance near‑term program execution with long‑term platform thinking, driving reusable interfaces, and ensuring designs support future therapies and ecosystem needs in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of systems engineering experience in regulated environments.
• Minimum of 7 years of managerial experience in a systems organization.
• Experience delivering programs to market and translating ideas into executable plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead an organization of systems engineering leaders and contribute to strategic objectives.
• Own systems development strategy with clear objectives, backlogs, and measures.
• Drive MBSE, AI-enabled workflows, and cross-program consistency across platforms.
• Mentor engineers and managers to improve execution quality and talent growth.
• Collaborate with PMO, compliance, and partners to align with business needs.
