Job summary

The Blackstone Group L.P. is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Lead AVP for its Legal and Compliance Technology group in New York. This role guides technical strategy, architectures scalable solutions, and leads teams that build and integrate custom apps with SaaS platforms to support global L&C operations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of software development/architecture, deep L&C system experience, and a record of delivering secure, cloud-native solutions with AWS, Python, and C#.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure architecture for L&C systems on AWS and SaaS platforms.
• Architect and oversee development of custom applications using Python and C#.
• Lead SaaS platform integration including Contract Pod AI, Star Compliance, ServiceNow LSD and Snowflake.
• Define multi-year roadmaps and technology strategy for L&C solutions.
• Mentor and lead a high-performing development team across global stakeholders.
• Stay current with global L&C trends and regulatory requirements.
