Job summary

Blackstone in New York City seeks a Software Engineer to manage and modernize enterprise security platforms, including access control, visitor management, VMS, and IAM. You will help ensure reliability, scalability, and secure operations across the firm.

You will design integrations with APIs and SaaS tools, automate workflows, support incident response, and work with IT and engineering teams on high-availability architectures and DR plans. Familiarity with SOX, GDPR/CCPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering enterprise software platforms.
• API development and event-driven architectures.
• Scripting in Python or PowerShell.
• Data modeling and governance for analytics.
• Experience with identity platforms and SSO/SAML.
• Experience with Windows server environments and cloud/SaaS.

Responsibilities

• Platform maintenance and modernization to ensure reliability and security.
• Develop integrations across hosted and SaaS solutions using APIs and data pipelines.
• Design and deploy automation scripts to streamline operations.
• Manage data quality, normalization, and taxonomy for analytics.
• Collaborate on high-availability architectures and disaster recovery.
• Support security operations and incident response.
• Vendor management for tech roadmaps and renewals.
• GSOC support ensuring real-time monitoring and decision-making.
