Job summary

Blackstone is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join the Legal and Compliance Technology group. You will design scalable, secure LC systems, lead integration of SaaS platforms, and drive technology roadmaps in a global setting.

Responsibilities include architecting cloud-native solutions with AWS, guiding custom app development in C# and Python, and mentoring a high-performing team while ensuring data privacy and compliance across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of software development and architecture experience.
• Proven experience in L&C systems, including designing solutions for L&C workflows and processes.
• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and SaaS platform integration.
• Proficiency in Python and C#.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing architecture for L&C systems, leveraging AWS infrastructure and SaaS platforms.
• Architect and oversee the development of custom applications using C#, Python, Terraform, and AWS services.
• Lead the implementation and integration of SaaS platforms used in L&C workflows, including Contract Pod AI, Star Compliance, ServiceNow LSD and Snowflake.
• Define the long-term vision for L&C technology solutions and multi-year roadmaps, balancing innovation and business priorities.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing development team and foster collaboration across global stakeholders.
