Job summary

Tradeweb Markets is offering a software internship on our Technology Development team (U.S. Credit). You’ll contribute to the New List Infrastructure (NLI) using C++ and collaborate with a 16-person engineering team to build and refine trading protocols.

We’re seeking students pursuing undergraduate or Master’s degrees in CS/CE or related fields, with strong C/C++, data structures, and algorithms. A passion for large-scale distributed systems and clear communication is essential.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing an undergraduate or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
Experience with C/C++ and a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
An interest in building large-scale, real-time distributed systems.
Sharp problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Curiosity about how technology drives fixed income and thoughtful coding.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the New List Infrastructure (NLI), a ground-up rewrite of our trading protocol stack.
Build auto-execution logic and develop new trading protocols from client requests.
Collaborate with other engineers on our 16-person engineering team.
Engage in design and implementation of code affecting multiple systems across the firm.
