Job summary

Chicago Trading Company (CTC) invites rising computer science students to join its eight-week Software Engineering Intern program in Chicago. You will work on trading tools and risk applications, designing, testing, and delivering solutions with engineers on one of our technology teams.

You will gain hands-on experience in Java, C++, or Python, with mentorship across a fast-paced desk and exposure to AI-assisted development.

Qualifications

• Foundation in data structures, OOP and algorithms.
• Experience with Java, C++, or Python.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and willing to relocate to Chicago for summer.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test trading tools and risk applications.
• Ship code to production in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Learn from and mentor with technology teams and QT Interns.
• Engage with AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.
