Job summary

Chicago Trading Company (CTC) invites talented students to join our Software Engineering Internship for Summer 2027 in Chicago. You will work on real trading tools and risk applications, designing, solving, and testing complex code that impacts production in days.

You will learn across Java, C++, and Python while collaborating with QT interns and mentors. You will be part of an 8-week program with classroom sessions, hands-on projects, and social activities, including AI-enabled coding

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in CS/CE with Java, C++, or Python experience.
• Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms.
• Willing to relocate to Chicago for summer and complete the 8-week program mid‑June to early August 2027.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a technical project mirroring a full-time Software Engineering Associate.
• Get hands-on experience with trading technology.
• Receive mentorship from members of the technology team.
