Job summary

Chicago Trading Company (CTC) invites rising students to join our 8-week Software Engineering Intern program in Chicago. You will design, implement, and test components for trading tools and risk applications, working closely with engineers on one of our technology teams.

The role offers real production impact with rapid release cycles and mentorship from senior engineers. Eligible candidates are pursuing CS/CE degrees, with Java, C++, or Python experience, and are prepared to relocate to

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/CE with Java, C++, or Python experience.
• Graduation expected between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms and OO programming.
• Willing to relocate to Chicago for the summer (internship).

Responsibilities

• Develop and test software for trading tools and risk applications.
• Contribute to production code with short release cycles (days).
• Collaborate with software engineers and QT interns in a fast-paced environment.
• Learn and apply AI-assisted development tools in daily work.
