Job summary

RTX is seeking a student intern in McKinney, TX to support the software development lifecycle for military and commercial programs. You will contribute from concept through design, development, integration, test, and potential maintenance, as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You must be enrolled in a bachelor’s or advanced degree program with at least 60 credits, and have experience in object-oriented programming and real-time software development.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in an applicable discipline and actively enrolled through completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship/co-op session.
• Experience in object-oriented programming.
• Experience in developing, testing, and integrating real-time software applications.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of a software development life cycle as part of a multi-disciplined team.
• Assist with concept to design, development, integration, test, and maintenance tasks for military and commercial programs.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineers to design user-focused solutions.
