Job summary

Cox Automotive seeks a college student intern for a hands-on technical management role. You will help develop and manage enterprise platforms, deployment pipelines, and automation across public and private clouds.

You’ll gain exposure to security practices, documentation, and collaboration with delivery and operations teams. Ideal applicants are pursuing a CS degree, enjoy coding and automation, and are familiar with Windows/Linux, containers, databases, and cloud concepts such as AWS.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BA/BS in computer science or related field.
• Interest in building and improving secure and scalable applications.
• Experience with Windows and Linux, containers, and databases.
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud architectures is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile concepts (Scrum/Kanban).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage enterprise platforms, deployment pipelines, security and quality monitoring.
• Create tools to automate tasks and manage infrastructure on clouds.
• Automate provisioning, configuration management and support across environments.
• Document development procedures and test plans as needed.
• Support security and engineering standards, best practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Build tools and pipelines to enable continuous integration and delivery across environments.
