Job summary

GE Vernova's internship in Rochester, NY offers hands-on software development experience. You will learn the product portfolio, contribute as a developer on a next generation product line, and assist in designing sub-systems within software development.

You will code in Java, C/C++, and Python, help integrate GE Cloud DevOps tools into the GE MDS CI/CD process, and follow defined engineering practices while reporting progress to management.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in a technical field (Engineering, CS, CE, or IT).
• Maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (without rounding).
• Demonstrated programming experience in Java, C/C++, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Learn our product portfolio and become a developer on one of our product lines.
• Be part of an active development team working on a next generation product line.
• Assist with designing/developing sub-systems and features in Software Development.
