Zohorecruit is seeking a Software Engineer in Laurel, MD with an active TS/SCI clearance and Full Scope Polygraph. You will develop and prototype secure software components across full-stack architectures, bridging cyber research with mission-ready solutions.

The role requires mastery of Java, Spring, Gradle, Docker, and Linux/Bash, with responsibilities spanning design specifications, testing, and deployment in government-aligned environments.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with 7+ years of software engineering experience, or 11+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Strong hands-on proficiency with Java.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and prototype software applications translating emerging research into mission capabilities.
• Create hardware and software component design specifications adhering to industry-standard development methodologies.
• Implement robust application designs with security controls, database connectivity, performance optimization, and intuitive interfaces.
• Build and manage builds and dependencies using Java, Spring, Gradle, and Docker.
• Work within Linux/Bash environments to build, debug, deploy, and maintain software components.
• Execute comprehensive unit, integration, and functional testing per approved test plans.
