Job summary
Leidos invites a Sr. Software Engineer with an active TS/SCI polygraph to join our agile team building a large enterprise system. You will participate in SDLC activities from user stories to deployment, leveraging Java, Python, embedded C/C++, and web UI technologies.
This role requires deep experience with Java frameworks, multiple languages, test automation, DevOps, and secure coding practices. You will collaborate in stand-ups, planning events, and cross-functional teams to deliver robust
Qualifications
- BS degree and 12-15 years of relevant experience; Masters with 10-13 years acceptable.
- Demonstrated experience with Java and multiple Java frameworks (Spring, JEE, JPA, JAX-RS).
- Experience with Javascript, Python, C/C++, SQL and related languages.
- Experience with IDEs like Eclipse, VS Code, Visual Studio.
- Experience with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server.
- Experience with web UI development and frameworks like AngularJS.
- Experience with source control and configuration management tools.
- Strong understanding of secure software development and DevOps automation.
Responsibilities
- Participate in daily stand-ups, Sprint Planning, and PI Planning.
- Analyze complex requirements and design software using formal techniques.
- Promote code reuse and cross-program collaboration to reduce maintenance.
- Engineer, tune and document automation scripts; deploy to test/production.
- Develop server-side logic and client UI across large enterprise system.
