Ubitium GmbH is seeking Software Engineers to build development tools for a novel processor architecture. You will help define hardware support for debugging and performance analysis and design low-level tooling to connect our hardware to standard tools such as GDB.
Candidates should have strong C++ and C skills, knowledge of Python, and familiarity with computer architecture, RISC-V, and hardware simulation (Verilator, QEMU, gem5).
We are looking for Software Engineers who will build development tools for our novel processor architecture. You and your team will help define the needed hardware support for debugging and performance analysis; design and implement low-level tooling to connect our hardware to standard tools such as GDB; design and implement a simulation environment that lets software developers target our processor ahead of and alongside hardware availability.
Prospective team members require strong C++ and C skills, with a good understanding of low-level software and the hardware/software boundary; experience with Python or similar scripting languages. We are also looking for skills in the following areas: computer architecture and simulation, RISC-V knowledge, familiarity with hardware simulation (e.g., Verilator, QEMU, gem5), experience with performance-analysis tooling.
Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) and first relevant experience (internships, projects) welcome.
Relocation required. Currently 4 days on-site, 1 day remote. Policy may change.
