Qualifications

• Four or more years of software engineering experience at teams with strong engineering practices.
• Ability to model a complex real-world domain accurately.
• Willingness to learn domain knowledge from tax professionals.
• Strong communication in a largely remote team.

Responsibilities

• Own the modeling engine, including transfer tax computations and distributions.
• Model domain flexibly with complex trusts and estates structures.
• Ensure correctness by validating against practitioners and tax code.
• Support agents by exposing a deterministic data model for workflows.
