Lumion is hiring a software engineer for a fully remote role in the United States. You will contribute to backend logic, data models, APIs, integrations, admin workflows, and customer interfaces as part of a growing engineering team.

The team works with an AI-first stack and frontier models, learning how software gets built in the future. This is a fast-moving startup environment with opportunities to influence product decisions and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science required, completed before start date.
• Evidence of applying programming skills via capstone, internship, project, open source, or similar hands-on work.
• Confidence in at least one programming language; not required to know PHP or Laravel specifically.
• Strong understanding of web development fundamentals: HTTP, APIs, auth, databases, browsers, version control, testing.
• Ability to break problems into parts, investigate issues, and work toward solutions.
• Good product judgment, considering user needs in technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Work across backend logic, data models, APIs, integrations, admin workflows, and customer interfaces.
• Be a full member of the engineering team from day one and contribute production-grade work.
• Maintain code quality and collaborate with peers to meet project goals.
