Job summary

Ctrl+ is an innovative software engineering and staffing firm based in Elkridge, Maryland. The Software Engineer role requires TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance and 9 years of STEM Bachelor's Degree experience, with hands-on development, testing, and integration across diverse software components, including DINO and other capabilities as mission needs arise.

The position emphasizes Linux, scripting, Python, Rust, NoSQL, container tech (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD (GitLab CI), and IaC (Ansible).

Qualifications

• Must have TS/SCI w/Poly clearance and 9 years of experience with a STEM Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience developing, sustaining, and troubleshooting software.
• Experience integrating with COTS, GOTS, and FOSS products.

Responsibilities

• Develop, sustain, and troubleshoot GHOSTGEM's software suite including DINO and future capabilities.
• Implement, test, and integrate software with external Packages and libraries.

The Software Engineer shall be responsible for developing, sustaining, and troubleshooting

GHOSTGEM's software suite of applications, including DINO and possibly future capabilities as mission needs arise. Software development activities include implementation, testing, and integration with other COTS, GOTS, and FOSS products, packages, and libraries.

Position Required Skills

• Experience using the Linux CLI and Tools
• Experience developing scripts using Bash
• Recent Python (3.x) software development experience
• Experience with Rust programming concepts, or a willingness and aptitude to learn Rust
• Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerd
• Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
• Experience creating Helm Charts to deploy containerized services on Kubernetes
• Familiar with Messaging Frameworks including RabbitMQ
• Familiar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI
• Familiar with IaC principles, methodologies, and tools such as Ansible
• Experience using Git Source Control System

Position Desired Skills

• Experience with SQL databases including PostgreSQL
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence
