Job summary

CTRL+ LLC is seeking a Software Integration Engineer in Maryland with 8+ years of STEM experience and an active DoD clearance. You will integrate, test, deploy, and troubleshoot mission services across on-prem enclave and AWS cloud, using Linux, scripting, and DevOps tools.

Frontline responsibilities include maintaining Linux environments, configuring COTS/GOTS/FOSS software, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a DoD setting.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience with a STEM Bachelor's Degree required.
• Security Clearance with Polygraph required.
• Experience in Linux environments and scripting for automation.
• Experience with on-premise enclave and AWS environments.

Responsibilities

• Integrate, test, deploy, and troubleshoot mission services.
• Maintain and support production services in on-prem and AWS environments.

The Software Integration Engineer shall be responsible for the integration, test, deployment, and troubleshooting of various production-ready mission services deployed in an on-prem enclave and AWS Cloud environments.

Position Required Skills:

• Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
• Experience developing Bash/Python scripts to automate manual processes
• Proficient performing Linux System Administration
• Experience installing, configuring, and sustaining COTS/GOTS/FOSS software in a Linux environment
• Foundational knowledge of DevOps Tooling (e.g., CI/CD, Git)
• Experience with Cloudera Hadoop ecosystem (NiFi, HDFS, Map/Reduce)
• Experience with installing, configuring, and sustaining multiple NoSQL databases including MongoDB and Accumulo
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman, containers)
• Experience with IaC principles and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Salt, Puppet)
• Demonstrated experience using system monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus/Grafana)

Position Desired Skills:

• Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containers
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
• AWS Cloud experience
