Job summary

Ctrl+ is seeking a Software Engineer in Maryland to develop, sustain, and troubleshoot Ctrl+'s software suite including DoD-focused applications. You will implement, test, and integrate with COTS, GOTS, and FOSS components, using Linux CLI, Python, and containerized workflows.

The role requires hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI, and IaC tooling like Ansible. Qualifications span NoSQL (MongoDB), SQL (PostgreSQL), and messaging with RabbitMQ; security clearance with polygraph

Qualifications

• Strong Linux command-line experience and scripting ability.
• Proficient in Python 3.x software development.
• Experience with NoSQL (MongoDB) and containerized workflows.

Job description

Security Clearance with Polygraph is required

The Software Engineer shall be responsible for developing, sustaining, and troubleshooting
GHOSTGEM's software suite of applications including DINO. Software development activities
include implementation, testing, and integration with other COTS, GOTS, and FOSS products,
packages, and libraries.

Position Required Skills

• Experience using the Linux CLI and Tools
• Experience developing scripts using Bash
• Recent Python (3.x) software development experience
• Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerd
• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI
• Familiar with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
• Familiar with Helm Charts to deploy containerized services on Kubernetes
• Familiar with Messaging Frameworks including RabbitMQ
• Familiar with IaC principles, methodologies, and tools such as Ansible
• Experience using Git Source Control System

Position Desired Skills

• Experience with SQL databases including PostgreSQL
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence
