Typical Responsibilities

The tools team supports internal development teams, Business Analyst squads, and Quality Engineers by maintaining software utilities and tools that enable other groups to succeed. The role requires flexibility as requirements change rapidly, balancing priorities across teams. Participation in code reviews and fostering a culture of excellence are essential. Experience with DevOps practices is highly advantageous. The role involves working with various programming languages and collaborating with the architecture team to develop future-proof solutions. Additionally, gaining knowledge of the financial industry is necessary to understand the needs of other teams.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in software development.
• Proven experience with multiple programming languages (e.g., C#, C++).
• Proficiency in software methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, DevOps.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience with version control systems like Git or DX1.
• Knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Ability to analyze and resolve technical problems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
