Description

The Software Engineer Team Lead manages a team of engineers creating real-time applications processing critical financial data. Our high-performance software delivers data from global exchanges to clients within milliseconds, normalizing data into a common format.

The projects involve multiple languages, primarily C++ and scripting languages, focusing on both Linux and Windows OS, with a strong emphasis on Linux. Learning and continuous development are highly encouraged within the team.

Responsibilities

1. Lead a team of developers, business analysts, and QA engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
2. Ensure optimal technical design and maintainability of all team projects.
3. Manage team members, including mentoring, performance reviews, and compensation.
4. Serve as a technical leader and problem solver in the global real-time collections team.
5. Coordinate dependencies and resolve blockers with other teams to ensure efficient delivery.
6. Drive improvements in frameworks, infrastructure, and processes.
7. Deliver high-performance software meeting capacity and latency requirements.
