Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. seeks an experienced Go backend engineer to build scalable authorization services and secure inter-service communication. You will work on modernization of legacy C++ components and contribute to design reviews and operational support.

The role requires extensive production exposure, a TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, and the ability to operate on U.S. soil. Collaborative, on-call, and reliability-focused work is expected.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field with at least five years of relevant experience, a master’s degree with at least three years of experience, a related PhD, or equivalent experience.
Candidates must have professional Go backend development experience and experience maintaining services in complex production environments.
A current U.S. Government TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph; the role also requires U.S. person status and work on U.S. soil.
