Job summary

enGen is seeking a software engineer to join an agile team building scalable applications across digital channels. You will contribute from idea to execution, applying modern tech stacks and patterns to deliver robust software.

The role involves coding to standards, participating in Scrum ceremonies, and collaborating with senior developers to ensure performance and reliability across the platform.

Qualifications

• Experience in algorithms, data structures and design patterns for scalable systems.
• Proficiency in at least one modern language (Java, Python, JavaScript) with knowledge of two of React, Angular, NodeJS, NoSQL, HTML5, CSS, AWS.
• Understanding of web services technologies such as REST, HTTPS, JSON.

Responsibilities

• Design and write engineering specifications and ensure code adheres to standards.
• Generate ideas, explore suitable technical solutions, and ensure scalability and performance.
• Be part of an agile team, participate in scrum ceremonies, and assist in sprint planning.
• Create tasks for stories (RTC or Jira) and update status and assignment accordingly.
