Job summary

Sentar is seeking a Software Engineer in Huntsville, AL to support the GBSD/Sentinel program. You will develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, review components, and ensure adherence to requirements in a team setting.

Qualifications include a BS in a STEM field, experience in OO languages like Java or C++, and familiarity with SysML/UML and CAMEO. Applicants should be US citizens capable of obtaining SAP access and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in software development in at least one object-oriented language such as Java or C++.
• Familiarity with UI design or interpreting complex algorithms for implementation.
• Knowledge of SysML/UML and concepts, including CAMEO.
• Understanding of agile methods and software lifecycle is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems per requirements.
• Review and test components; document results and fix defects.
• Contribute to system design decisions including hardware/software tradeoffs and reuse.
