We are seeking a Software/Systems Engineer in Huntsville, AL!

Role Description

We are continuing development of the Extended Air Defense Simulation (EADSIM). EADSIM is a simulation of air, missile and space warfare. EADSIM incorporates use-driven capabilities with a proven, rapid-response capability to develop and support the model to meet evolving user needs.

• Applies science and/or engineering techniques to develop economical solutions to technical problems.
• Specifies functional requirements, designs solutions, tests system/components, analyzes designs, and integrates components.
• Evaluates overall design effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety.
• Develops software solutions for modeling and simulations tools used in the DoD.
• Provide full life cycle support and object oriented design and development techniques.

Qualifications

Clearance Level: Secret

Education: Bachelors degree of science in engineering or scientific field of study.

• Mid-level: Five (5) years of experience in progressively more complex work experience in engineering or scientific discipline.
• Senior-level: Fifteen (15) years of experience in progressively more complex work experience in engineering or scientific discipline.

• Unix/Ultrix, HP-UX, SUN-OS, VAX/CMS, Harris VOS
• C, C++, ADA, FORTRAN
• Gitlab and JIRA
