Zusammenfassung

Veeco seeks a Software Engineer to design, develop, test and integrate software for fabrication and metrology equipment in the semiconductor industry, focusing on Veeco’s MOCVD tools.

The role requires strong OO skills and experience with C#, .NET, COM, MS Visual Studio, Windows OS, WCF and WPF. You will drive product iterations, participate in reviews and interface with vendors and third-party applications.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in software or related field; or Master’s with experience.
• Strong knowledge of OO methodologies and modern software stacks.
• Experience with C#, .NET, COM, Visual Studio, Windows OS, WCF and WPF preferred.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop highly reliable and scalable functionality to control complex equipment.
• Drive the technical ownership of products and contribute to knowledge base.
• Respond to multiple program priorities with minimal supervision and engineering support.
• Drive product iterations and development activities.
• Participate in designs, design reviews, code reviews and full software releases.
• Interface with vendors supplying components and supporting 3rd party apps.
