Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a backend engineer to design and build scalable, secure services in AWS, focusing on high-volume workloads. You will own CI pipelines using GitLab CI and help improve performance and reliability across distributed systems.

Relevant experience includes RTC/VoIP architectures (SIP, RTP), containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and open-source SIP tools like FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, or Asterisk. Strong English communication and proactive mindset required.

Qualifications

Solid experience building backend services.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines with hands-on GitLab CI/CD.
Proficient in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience operating and optimizing systems in AWS production environments.
Understanding of RTC/VoIP architectures and protocols (SIP, RTP).
Familiar with open-source SIP technologies (FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, Asterisk).
Exposure to media servers, signaling flows, or real-time communications debugging.
Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
Autonomous and proactive.
