Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Senior Software Engineer to build and optimize high-concurrency ad-delivery systems in a scalable cloud environment. You will own end-to-end development, release cycles, and collaborate with global teams to meet evolving product needs.

Requirements include a strong background in C++/Golang, Linux, and distributed architectures, plus experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and containerization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or above; degree preferred, with coursework/experience or extensive related professional experience considered.

In-depth understanding of cloud and containerization technologies.
Familiarity with distributed architecture and middleware such as cache, message queues, and Nginx.
Experience with large-scale online service design, development, and operations/maintenance.

Proficiency in C++, C, or Golang and network programming.
Experience with large-system software design and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Construct and optimize high-concurrency, highly available, low-latency ad-delivery infrastructure.
Own end-to-end software development, updates, and release rollouts.

Research, write, and edit software designs, test plans, and technical manuals.
Provide technical leadership on architectural and engineering decisions.
Mentor junior Software Development Engineers.

Deploy and manage containerized applications with Kubernetes.

Optimize performance, scalability, and availability in AWS.
Document and maintain software functionality; troubleshoot issues with teams.
Identify deployment automation opportunities and partner with global teams.

Continuously optimize and reconstruct existing systems to support rapid business development
Own end-to-end software development, application updates, and software release rollouts
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements and integration needs
Research, write, and edit software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, recommendations, and reports
Provide technical leadership on architectural, design, and engineering decisions
Mentor junior Software Development Engineers
Design, architect, and implement solutions using AWS, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies
Develop and manage scalable, reliable AWS infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and orchestration tools
Implement security best practices and maintain AWS and containerized-environment integrity and compliance
Optimize application performance, scalability, and availability in AWS
Document and maintain software functionality
Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues with operations and development teams

Requirements
