Join the Supply Chain Information Technologies Inbound Logistics Team as a Software Engineer

We aim to build a platform that handles all vendor and Ford System data integration for Inbound Logistics. The company is transitioning Material Management software to a new platform, and our goal is to provide the necessary data in the right format and timing for this new technology at Ford. This role will transform Ford's operations and focus on enhancing operational efficiency.

Position Overview

Seeking a full stack software engineer with business acumen in Supply Chain Inbound Logistics. This role involves building a GCP integration platform between operational systems supporting Ford Manufacturing facilities. The candidate should have experience designing interfaces for data reception, formatting, and transmission, preferably with Supply Chain or Manufacturing IT experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science Degree or related field
• 1+ year of Automotive Manufacturing experience improving cost or quality through IT
• Experience using IT solutions to enhance operational costs in Supply Chain
• Proficiency with development tools including:
• Java SpringBoot
• Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, DataFlow)
• Terraform
• PostgreSQL
• Docker
• Github
• Testing methodologies: Unit, Integration, Functional
• Python
• CI/CD with Tekton Pipelines
