Currency Technics + Metrics Inc is hiring a Software Engineer IV in Maryland. The role involves leading the design, development, testing, and deployment of CTM’s software solutions.

You will steer multi-service projects, influence architecture, and coordinate across Engineering and Product teams to ensure reliable, scalable products. You will mentor engineers, drive code reviews, and maintain strong technical leadership while balancing performance, security, and cost.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience with production systems.
• Strong distributed systems, APIs, databases, and web applications knowledge.
• Experience leading complex or ambiguous projects from planning to launch.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Ability to balance reliability, performance, security, and cost.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and implementation of complex projects across services or teams.
• Make architectural decisions balancing reliability, performance, security, and cost.
• Own testing, rollout, migration, observability, and operational readiness.
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code and set technical example.
• Mentor engineers and drive design reviews and code reviews.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to maintain alignment and drive projects forward.
• Communicate decisions and project status clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
