Job summary

Currency Technics + Metrics Inc is hiring a Software Engineer IV, Supervisor to lead and mentor a team of engineers. You will supervise hands-on development, design complex solutions, and ensure reliability and scalability while balancing cost and customer impact.

You will report to the Senior Manager of Engineering and continually grow your team through coaching, performance feedback, and structured development plans. Hybrid work may be available.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience across production systems.
• Experience directly managing junior or mid-level engineers.
• Hands-on, player-coach with ability to lead large projects.
• BS in Computer Science, Math, or related analytical field preferred.
• Strong communication and architectural decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise engineers, setting expectations for delivery and quality.
• Hold regular one-on-one meetings and provide feedback.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers through reviews and pairing.
• Lead design reviews and code reviews across teams.
• Own projects from planning to rollout and observability.
