Job summary

RTX is seeking an intern/co-op software student to join our Software organization in Marlborough, MA. You will assist in requirements, design, development and testing of missile, launcher and sensor software within a fast-paced agile team.

Responsibilities include coding, testing, integration and documentation of software solutions. You will collaborate with engineers, project managers and other professionals, following standard development practices and CM processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree and enrolled through completion of internship/co-op.
• Must have 60 hours of credit by start of internship/co-op.
• ABET is preferred accreditation standard (not required).
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with colleagues and leaders in a team environment.

The Software organization develops software applications, including integration and test on missiles, launchers, radars, naval systems, fire control and other complex systems. Our precision software and firmware integrate operating systems, device drivers, networking, and control software to bring together sensors, guidance, and flight control processing features to complete the mission. The Software org is made up of several Centers located across the country, responsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle. Qualifications We Prefer:

• Knowledge of C/C++ programming, structured programming concepts.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

Relocation Eligible

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
