Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a 2027 Summer Intern Software Engineer. You will develop, integrate, support, and debug software, and help troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines while supporting virtual development labs and aircraft software processes.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a BS in CS or related field with C++ experience and Linux/Unix exposure. US citizenship and facility access are required for this position.

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a 2027 Summer Intern Software Engineer. In this role, you will be developing, integrating, supporting and debugging software. Troubleshooting and supporting CI/CD build pipelines. Supporting the virtual development labs and aircraft software processes. Designing, developing and leveraging open-source, commercial and in-house software to support automation infrastructure. Attending and participating in daily scrums, sprint reviews and technical demos. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of C++ and Linux/Unix. Must be a US Citizen; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• C++ programming experience

Desired Skills

• Linux/Unix experience
• Hardware and/or software stability and integrity troubleshooting

Pay Information:

Full-Time Salary Range: $20.14 - $28.15

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
