Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking an early career Software Engineer. In this role, you will support software development tasks across a variety of undersea programs. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge developing applications in Java, C/C++, Python or similar languages. Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent STEM field.


• Academic or professional experience developing applications in Java, C++, C#, Python, Ada, or similar programming languages.


• Experience working within a Linux environment.


• Must be a US citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired Skills

• Famliiarity with Object Oriented Programming and Design Patterns.


• Familiarity with front-end display programming and design.


• Familiarity with software configuration management tools (git, GitLab, Bitbucket).


• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and similar collaboration tools.


• Active or prior holder of Secret clearance.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $22.66 - $31.67

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
