Job summary

Invitation Homes seeks a seasoned software engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable services, and to build Salesforce-based solutions (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components). You will collaborate in an Agile team, mentor others, and maintain complex systems across frontend and backend layers.

The role requires 5+ years in software development, strong CS/CE fundamentals, and Salesforce experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or equivalent work experience or boot camp.
• At least five years of software development experience.
• Advanced knowledge of at least one language (Apex/Java/NodeJS/Python).
• Experience on Salesforce platform (Apex/Visualforce/LWC) and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Strong CI/CD knowledge and practical application.
• Understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases; SDLC knowledge.
• Willingness to mentor and collaborate in Agile teams.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I preferred; II a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy frontend and backend services for high availability and low latency.
• Develop and configure Salesforce solutions including Apex, Visualforce, and LWC.
• Lead design, development, testing, and debugging of software systems.
• Identify defects using browser tools, APM, logging, and Salesforce logs.
• Promote best practices, coding standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile environment and attend ceremonies.
• Write, test, commit, review, and document code; maintain existing products.
• Mentor and support growth of other engineers; adapt to changing business needs.
