Invitation Homes is seeking a Software Engineer III to join a collaborative team building distributed, cloud-based services for residents and operations. The role focuses on architecting, developing, maintaining, and debugging systems, with emphasis on Salesforce platforms (Apex, Visualforce, LWC) and modern cloud practices.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of software development experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for mentoring teammates in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Apex, Java, NodeJS, or Python.
• Experience on Salesforce platform (Apex, Visualforce, LWC).
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and implementation.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy frontend and backend services for high availability and scalability.
• Build Salesforce-based solutions (Apex, Visualforce, LWC) and integrations (REST/SOAP).
• Lead design, development, testing, and debugging of software systems.
• Identify and resolve defects with debugging tools, APM, and logs.
• Mentor other engineers and promote engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile environment.
