Job summary

Netflix Creations, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer for INK to help build an AI-enabled animation production environment. You will work with senior technologists to create enterprise platforms supporting artist-led pipelines across shows.

Responsibilities include expanding scalable GenAI workflows, collaborating with infrastructure teams, and delivering tooling that standardizes studio processes across productions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of software engineering experience, preferably supporting animation studios and pipelines.
• Foundational knowledge of scalable inference and training technologies.
• Familiarity with modern software development tools and Netflix internals to develop scalable workflows.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to enterprise-wide technology and platforms for INK to support scalable GenAI‑native production across shows.
• Partner with senior engineers to evaluate internal and external algorithm developments for creative requirements.
• Assist in packaging workflows for use by other artists across the studio.
• Define and implement artist distributed compute and workstation requirements with Netflix infrastructure teams.
• Ensure API support for Technical Directors to customize per-show integrations.
• Prototype and test new workflows in real production scenarios and iterate based on artist feedback.
• Develop and maintain tools for artists to navigate generated materials and assets.
