Job summary

Netflix INK is hiring Software Engineers to help build enterprise-wide technology and AI-enabled production pipelines for artists. You’ll work with senior engineers to create scalable GenAI-native workflows across shows.

Based in the US, the role emphasizes collaboration with infrastructure, security, and artist teams to deliver reliable tooling, per-show customization, and standards for generated assets.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software engineering experience, preferably supporting animation studios and pipelines.
• Foundational knowledge of scalable inference and training technologies, with a eagerness to learn and adapt.
• Ability to develop standardized workflows that scale across multiple shows.
• Familiarity with modern development tech (e.g., Claude Code) and Netflix internal tools.
• Excellent communication to translate show-based solutions into deployable workflows.
• Experience building and maintaining secure systems for multi-show environments.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to enterprise-wide tech and platforms for INK to support GenAI-native production across shows.
• Partner with senior engineers to evaluate internal and external algorithm developments for artistic needs.
• Define and implement artist distributed compute and workstation requirements with API support for TDs.
• Prototype and test new workflows in real production scenarios and iterate based on artist feedback.
• Maintain studio standards around generated assets and development tooling for artists.
• Support the production tracking and review toolset to ensure standardized workflows across productions.
