Job summary

Netflix’s Ink division seeks Software Engineers to join INK, an environment where artists create animated content using AI-enabled tools and production pipelines. You will work with senior engineers to build enterprise platforms supporting artist-led production across multiple shows.

Responsibilities include prototyping new workflows, packaging workflows for artists, and ensuring API support for Technical Directors.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software engineering experience in animation pipelines.
• Foundational knowledge of scalable inference and training tech, with a drive to learn.
• Ability to develop scalable workflows across multiple shows.
• Strong communication and collaboration with artists and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to building enterprise-wide technology and platforms for INK to support scalable GenAI-native production across shows.
• Partner with senior software engineers to evaluate internal and external algorithm developments in the context of creative requirements to support artists and technical directors on shows.
• Assist in packaging successful workflows for use by other artists across the studio.
• Define and implement artist distributed compute and workstation requirements with leadership and Netflix infra teams.
• Ensure proper API support for Technical Directors to customize per-show or craft last-mile integration.
• Prototype and test new workflows in real production scenarios and iterate to improve usability and performance.
• Establish and maintain studio standards around generated assets and materials; develop tools for artists to navigate generated materials.
• Maintain the studio production tracking and review toolset and enable standardized workflows across productions.
• Provide tooling for the common show environment and APIs for show-specific integrations.
