Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III to join a secure, scalable team within Asset & Wealth Management. You will design, develop, and deliver trusted technology products, using React/TypeScript on the front-end and Python/Java/Kotlin on the back-end, with AWS, Snowflake, Kafka, and Spark in the data stack.

Hands-on with AI-assisted development, CI/CD, and observability; you will contribute to secure, stable code and systems while aligning with enterprise security standards.

Qualifications

• Formal software engineering training with 3+ years of applied experience.
• Experience using enterprise AI-assisted development tools and evaluating outputs.

Responsibilities

• Executes standard software solution design, development, and troubleshooting with limited guidance.
• Writes secure, high-quality code using preferred language(s).
• Leverages AI coding assist tools to improve quality, speed, and productivity with peer review.
• Designs and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems.
• Hands-on development of full-stack data platform with project ownership.
• Applies SDLC tooling including AI-assisted development and automation.
